Presentation Sisters Congregational Archives contains the records of three administrative bodies: the General Congregational Administrative records and the records of the Irish Provinces.
Description of main collections: Material relating to the founder and the first foundation, development and continued ministries of the Presentation Sisters dated from 1769 to the present.
– Records relevant to the Presentation Sisters foundations in Ireland, England, Canada, USA, India, Pakistan, Philippines and Thailand, Africa (Zambia and Zimbabwe), Latin America (Chile, Ecuador and Peru), New Zealand and Slovakia.
– Publications such as pamphlets and souvenir brochures collected from
Presentation Sisters foundations and associated communities around the world.
– Documents relating to the administration of the Irish Provinces.
– Records from the Presentation Generalate in Ireland and material related to General Chapter meetings.
– Annals and photographs of Sisters and their ministries.

ACAI AGM 2015

The Association for Church Archives of Ireland will hold their AGM in the Margaret Aylward Centre, Glasnevin Hill, Dublin 9 on Saturday, 9th May 2015.

ACAI Seminar – ‘The Future of Church Archives: Opportunity or Crisis’

The ACAI are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a one-day seminar entitled ‘The Future of Church Archives: Opportunity or Crisis’ on Saturday, 28 February, 2015 at St. Patrick’s College, Drumcondra, Dublin 9.

It is hoped that this event will open up a discussion on the future of church archival collections in Ireland. Interested parties are encouraged to register for this event as places are limited and we expect significant demand for places.
