Description of collections: Material realting to the life and work of the Sisters of Charity from their foundation in 1815. The largest collections relate to the foundress, Mary Aikenhead, and there is also a substantial body of material relating to Mother Arsenius Morrough-Bernard and the Providence Woollen Mills, which she established in Foxford, Co. Mayo, to provide employment for local people.
