Collections relate to:

  • The history of the Infant Jesus Sisters in England (1892) and Ireland (1909).
  • The foundation of schools at Drishane Convent, Millstreet, Co. Cork (1909-1992) and Scoil Iosa, Malahide, Co. Dublin (1958).
  • The educational apostolate of the Irish Sisters in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Australia, USA, Nigeria, Cameroon, Bolivia, Peru and the Czech Republic.
  • The founder Blessed Nicholas Barré.
  • The general history of the Institute, 1662 onwards.
  • Correspondence, photographs and account books from the farm, brush factories, sawmills and knitting industry at Drishane and the knitting industries in Ballyferriter, Co. Kerry which were set up in the early twentieth century to combat emigration.
